Join us each month for First Friday Fun & Fellowship, now continuing throughout the year! If the weather is nice, we’ll kick off our bonfire season, otherwise we’ll gather inside for fun, laughter, and connection. All are welcome!

We gather on the first Thursday of each month in Elgin at 9:30 AM in M5. As we work together on a puzzle, we enjoy lively conversations, making it a wonderful opportunity to socialize and make new friends.

April is Poetry Month, and instead of a single book, we’re inviting everyone to bring poetry they love. That might be a favorite poem, a beloved poet, song lyrics, spoken word, or even poetry you enjoy mainly for the artwork and visuals that accompany it. No expertise required — just curiosity and appreciation. Come listen, share, and celebrate the beauty of words.

A friendly, one‑hour introduction to Artificial Intelligence (AI). We’ll explain what AI is in simple terms, show practical examples of how it can help with everyday tasks like writing, hobbies, and learning, and offer live demonstrations followed by Q&A. No technical experience needed. For food planning purposes, please RSVP.

Start Easter morning with good food and great company! Join us before worship for a delicious breakfast filled with fellowship, laughter, and a whole lot of joy. All proceeds from the breakfast will support our July mission trip to Spirit Lake, helping our team serve and grow while sharing God’s love beyond our walls.

Kids ages 8+ are invited to a fun, hands‑on morning of baking together. In about two hours, our young bakers will create cookies to be shared during Sunday Coffee Hour—a simple and meaningful way to serve our church family while learning kitchen skills. Registration is required! Sign up today!

Bring your favorite holiday treat to share during Fellowship after worship on Sunday, December 21! Whether it’s Grandma’s fudge or your famous cookies, we’d love to taste your traditions. Got a story behind your recipe? Add a note to share with everyone. This is always a heartwarming time of food, friendship, and festive fun—don’t miss it!

Join us in the Community Room for a time of food and fellowship. Please bring a favorite dish or dessert to share. In addition, we invite you to bring women’s toiletries, which will be donated to the Crisis Center.

Celebrate the joy of Advent by sharing the music of the season with those who need it most! We’ll gather at the Elgin campus and carpool to visit homebound friends and care facilities—spreading cheer with classic carols.  We’ll sing for about 2–3 hours, and if enough people join, we’ll split into two groups for even more impact!

Our November and December meetings are being combined into one, celebrating the joy of childhood reading! Bring one (or a few) of your favorite children’s books to share — whether it’s a timeless classic, a cherished Christmas story, or a new find you love for its message, illustrations, or the memories it brings.

Maybe it’s a book you once adored, or one you now read to your grandchildren — either way, we can’t wait to hear the stories behind your favorites.

This festive event features a wide variety of homemade cookies, perfect for holiday celebrations. Additionally, numerous craft vendors offer unique items for holiday shopping. We are now accepting vendor applications. You may apply online.
